CFR maintains a warehouse of parts critical to the operation of an IQT system, as well as a full inventory of consumable and maintenance parts. CFR is well versed on ensuring its customers have the correct service parts when they need them, including expedited emergency fulfillment for ‘system down’ situations.

Regular maintenance and care of an IQT system is fundamental to achieving the expected long operating life and consistent reliable performance. The trained Technical Service Officers and Agent Technicians have the tools and maintenance schedules to help. IQT Technician Service

CFR Engines Canada ULC is dedicated to maintaining a tradition of excellence when it comes to supporting customer service requirements around the world. The IQT is designed for a high degree of user serviceability, but in some cases obtaining the assistance of factory trained service personnel may be necessary. Professional assistance is available from our network of trained Agent Technicians, IQT Technical Service Officers, and the full backing of the CFR Factory Service Team.

IQT Training

IQT operator training helps your lab obtain accurate and precise test results by providing instruction on proper testing procedures and maintenance procedures to keep your IQT system in proper working order. Training is offered as a one-week training course, onsite at the CFR Engines Canada ULC facility in Ottawa throughout the year. The two versions of training courses cover various aspects of IQT operation, routine maintenance, test procedure compliance. All instruction is provided by the CFR technical team utilizing a hands-on experience with a working IQT system.

IQT Operation and Maintenance Training Course

CFR Engines Canada ULC’s 5-day IQT Operation and Maintenance Training Course covers all aspects of IQT operation, as well as routine IQT maintenance procedures. This foundation training course includes the following components, which will help ensure that students gain the knowledge to be successful with their IQT system.

  • A review of the IQT instrument, operating principles, and standard test methods
  • IQT testing procedures
  • IQT calibration procedures
  • Review of IQT troubleshooting procedures
  • Routine IQT maintenance procedures

IQT Advanced Training Course

The IQT Advanced Training Course is available to IQT Agents and select users. The advanced course covers more in-depth aspects of IQT troubleshooting and maintenance than is provided in the basic training course. Note: The basic IQT Operation and Maintenance Training Course is a prerequisite for any advanced training.
